In the Content team, we sell over 5,000 products (and counting) to a diverse range of customers through our engaging and persuasive descriptions. We have an exciting opportunity for a fluent foreign language speaking content writer to join this team. You’ll be responsible for translating a range of key listings and core product descriptions for our relevant websites and platforms. You’ll need to be dynamic in your approach because no two days will be the same - one day you might be writing product descriptions for Amazon, the next you might be writing sports category pages for our website.

The role:

Create engaging and informative content across a variety of platforms.
Translate our listings with 100% accuracy in order to maximise sales.
Ensure correct photos are uploaded and product categories are enabled.
Update and enhance existing website copy and product information, adding value to already successful listings.

Must be fluent in English and one of the following languages:

Italian
French
Danish
Norwegian
Finnish
Dutch

What you'll need to show us:

Capable of translating English listings into the relevant language.
A strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Demonstrate proactiveness with a keen desire to learn.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
An awareness of the impact of own area on sales, profits and costs.
Strong academic language qualifications, either at A Level or degree level.
It would be great if you have knowledge of HTML, CSS and SEO, as well as an understanding of content management systems, however it is not essential and will be taught.
