We are seeking a skilled PVC Extrusion/Injection Setter/Operator to join our team. This role requires expertise in PVC extrusion processes, with a strong focus on health, safety, and product quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate PVC extrusion machinery and extrusion moulding to produce high-quality products in line with production specifications.
- Adjust extrusion equipment, including temperature, speed, die, and other parameters, to optimize production and ensure product quality.
- Monitor the extrusion/injection machines process closely, ensuring that PVC materials are processed correctly and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production cycle to confirm that products meet internal standards and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during the production process, minimizing downtime and maintaining production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of extrusion machinery and injection machines to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices.
- Document production processes, machine settings, quality control results, and any maintenance activities.
- Take time to do QC activities such as visual and technical checks
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards for health, safety, and environmental impact.
- Help train and mentor junior team members in best practices for extrusion and safety procedures.
- Ensure the highest standard of 5s is achieved daily
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an extrusion setter/operator, preferably with PVC materials.
- Previous experience in Injection moulding manufacturing or a willingness to train and develop
- In-depth knowledge of PVC extrusion processes, machinery, and material handling.
- Strong understanding of quality control measures and the ability to perform detailed product inspections.
- Experience troubleshooting machinery and making minor repairs.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required to meet production schedules.
- A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and process optimization.
Shift Patterns:
- Week One: 6:00AM – 2:00PM
- Week Two: 10:00PM – 6:00AM
- Week Three: 2:00PM – 10:00PM
